Hello guys ! oooh man i've been hearing so incredible things about Austin workshop... i was in Amsterdam and wish i could have gone to Austin...

...but i'll be in the next one for sure :smirk:

This is some art for a contest... there are some amazing artist in that contest ( some members of CA.org ) and it will be hard to get some prize but i learned a lot in this one. So i post my entry.

I really likey. The mood is great, the movement is okay, and i really like the background hive look. Small crits:
maybe give the mount a little more "movement". The queen is tilted forward ready to go, but the 'bee' doesnt carry the same feel. (very minor crit)
The mount looks more wasp-like than bee-like(again minor crit).

Enjoyed it.

Hi Anemos, thank you for the comments... you're quite right with the "movement", when i finished the pic i realized some weird things, one was the static composition and the other some wrong pose/anatomy...

hehe, maybe i must call it "the wasp queen" ;)

That is some seriously freaky weirdness, I love it, the lance rocks.

Very nice pablo, I love the design of the head. One small crit is that I think the bottom righ corner of the image doesn't look as finished as the rest, and her left hand is bigger than the right (the one that's holding the lance), ok that's two crits :P. Nice colors too!
