this is a bit of an apocalyptic style rave scene, heavily inspired by a psychadelic glastonbury festival. this is also my first ever venture into the world of forums and one of my first photoshop pieces...

One of your first attempts at photoshop?? Jeeze, I couldn't imagine what you'd produce when you became an expert at it. No doubt you either have a great mouse and steady hand or drew it on a what-cha-ma-call-it thing that lets you draw on a pad that puts it up on the screen. The detail on the arm of the robert is awsome. It looks really nice. One problem I had when I started out was to make it look like things were actually "bright". Not just on the screen, but like they were bright in the picture. You really acheived this on the whole light comming down, and the shadowed robot thing makes it look even more realistic. Great job, and keep it up.

cool. i really like the red undertones as they trigger a sense of heat and also a slightly cult atmosphere. the use of local colour on the crowd could have been put to good use, having said that the colour is the defining point for this piece. also i cant see what your robot dj is looking at.
