Great pieces Stan. I see the onimusha similarities in the third one. I love the second one. What brushes and what settings do u have them at. I love that look. Great job. What technique did u use? keep em coming

thanks, i basically use the round camelhair brushes, and on the second one i used the loaded palette knife for the bg... for the technique... i dont know it this is different but its diffrnt from my previous technique, anyway basically i do a sketch on the computer and then make a layer below it for the basic shapes then I make a layer on top of everything to refine everything else... btw i use painter 7, hope that helps=)

have something new to add:

the first one and the most recent one you posted are really awsome!

i think the second one would be a lot better if you tweaked your anatomy a bit and did more refining. he looks really splotchy and not as sharp as he could be.

just my thoughts.

youve got a really cool style! i cant wait to see more from you.

hey man whearas your colouring is great!! i have a small issue with the anatomy.. some arms look a little too big and heads a little small ... i know im being overcritical but maybe if you spend just a weee bit more time in the scetching and layout/positioning on the characters and they're positions you would have an even more pleasing result... good stuff though.. i too wish my painter brushes did that.. (why dont they dammit)

Very beautiful paintings. the colours are awesome. However, I have to agree with the dude that said your anatomy is off in places. not WAY off, just a little bit off. But as I said, your brushwork is fantastic.
