Open Canvas!

I NEED to get Open Canvas working as a host. I have a router firewall- so it cant be turned off. Is there ANYWAY to get around this? We tried changing the Port numbers, but none of the 6 to8 we tried worked. Any help? we have OC 1.1

might have to set up an access rule for your ICS for port forwarding or something.
At least that's what my networking bud said when I was trying to host an OC session between us. I can still join, just not host.

I'm using Sygate somethingortheother for ICS and it's easy enough to set up access rules & whatnot....I made a few rules so that i could send files to other people over msn, which wasn't working. I imagine it's the same for OC.
