This one was too big for the scanner, so I had to use the digital camera.

I'm lovin' that last post (the demon with the huge belly)! And there's a definite progression in the first series of drawings. Good stuff! :)

Thanks for the comments cuddly! Here's the inked version of the Demon. I plan to marker it as soon as I get a chance. I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep the wolf in the corner so I didn't ink him hehe. We'll see.

And here's another sketch. This guy's loosely based on a character named Varney in Neil Gaiman's book Neverwhere. He's lives underground London so all his armour and weapons are either homemade or bartered for. I thought he was an awesome character and couldn't resist drawing him. :D

Thats funny - i had varney as a guy concealing everythign under a long trenchcoat. with a top hat even. something out of oliver twist. great story though. walking through the british museum is never the same since reading it.
nice sketches - i can relate to the scanner problem
in fact i've started sketching smaller as a result. and it saves time
i love this forum

Well I definitely took some liberty with the character, It's an interpretation. But Gaiman described him as being ragged with stitched plates of leather covering his body. I dunno, that' show I pictured him. That's the beauty of a book though. Everyone has a different interpretation :D .
As for the scanner problem, I usually sketch pretty small, but when I actually plan out a character I like it to be a bit big to get all the details in . Thanks for the comments! :)
