well....got bored and made another attempt to conqure the colors.... colors r like stuborn little monsters that never do wut i told them.

Hi!
Try painting it in grayscale first. Get your light vs shadows working first and then your picture will work even if your colors are weird.

JCEvil, I have a suggestion for you, is good to apply more details on it and don't let the light reflex too bright! if not the overall will look flat!

but how do u convert the grey to colors
do u just draw on top of it... or do u use hue or somthin? -_-?

Once I have a value study I add another layer ontop of it (in Photoshop) add put the composite mode to color and start working in the colors.
This I do until all of the darker ranges are in the right color.
Then I add another layer set to normal composite mode and I paint in the high lights in their right colors using hard brushes and opacity changes (10 to 50) thus painting in the high lights.
And voil‡! You got your painting.
Then again the paintings on www.fabpics.com took like 4 days to do so it's not like it's simple to do or anything.
Have fun and gets those values down!

lol AWWWwww .... and i thought theres a lazy way to convert them to colors
guess i'll just hav to paint ontop
but i think theres a color convert tool in photoshop cs .. i think i saw it somewhere ...maybe i'll experiment with it
