Hello All,
Its been a long time since I have had the time to do any painting for fun that I could share here. This is an old piece I never finished for our book. I have been playing around with today, just having fun, not sure if I will take it any further....

Man, I hate it when people have much more imagination than me!
I'm liking this picture.
My suggestion is, in the the distance, try adding more blue to make it seem "atmospheric", especially in the bottom of your picture, at the lake/dam. Just to make it seem like it has more depth to it.
Then I think the guy in the lower right hand part of the picture could use a little more work, but not too much.
Great job.

I like it. You're color choices are always so bold but yet still in harmony.
I've got to keep reminding myself this is a wip considering this would be a finished piece for most people. There probably isn't anything I could comment on that you aren't already aware of. Stuff that jumps out at me: I think that there are perhaps some perspective issues with some of the elipses? And of course sharpening up of blurry and/or rough edges(Which I'm sure will happen as this one nears completion.)
:chug:

The top half of the picture, especially the skyline reminds me very much of the environments in Morrowind. Infact while I was watching the picture load I thought for a second the big building in top right corner was actually a Silt Strider. I play too many games.
Great pic btw :)

I'm not quite sure why I thought of this but I thought it would be really cool to see some form of a zeppelin floating through this fantastic city. Also I would make it look more "lived in"...have windows all throughout the sides of the buildings and such perhaps. If you finished it just as is though it would be totally awesome. I hope you do finish this it looks great!

Yeah - this would've been pretty much a finished piece if it had been mine...
What strikes me about this, is the grasp you have of light/shadow!
I mean, I've never been to that place(obviously!), but still I can see that the colour variations of the blue(or rather chrome metal I would think, but blue because of the light) 'plates' along the ridge are perfectly showing how it would look in real life..... Sorry, sometimes even my english isn't good enough to describe what I mean...but I really believe in this pic because of the light/shadows.
Awesome! :)

yeah those plates goin round that NG referred to are stunningly well done as far as shading and the shadow play.. very wonderful imaginiative illustration, the only bone i have to pick is the guys in the foreground totally throw the vibe off.. they seem diff and i dunno that they can be easily touched and its nice to see another sign of life here.. o well great work, keep it up, - chudzta
