Hi all :D I've posted here a few times looking for suggestions about graduate programs. Just graduated and I still don't know quite what to do.

I've been accepted to Pratt's CGIM MFA in Computer Art program, but I'm not so sure I want to go there. I haven't visited the Brooklyn campus yet, but I've heard not so good things. Also, $900 a credit? O_O I dont know if I've been awarded any scholarships/grants, so... bah..

Anyhoo, so I'm looking into other programs and was wondering if anyone has any opinions about Savannah College of Art & Design's graduate programs. I'm most interested in their graphic design, illustration, sequential art, and animation programs. They also offter dual degree/double majors for MFAs and MAs... any advice on that?

Any advice on Pratt, SCAD, or graduate school in general would greatly appreciated. ^_^ Thanks in advance!

We have a great Drawing Minor, concept design was not picked up as a minor when it was organized By Paul Hudson but if you take classes taught by him in Sequential Design you learn everything you need

Thanks for replying :) Drawing major, hm? Ok, I'll look into that. If yah don't mind me asking another question...

Would you happen to know anything about the sequential art major at graduate level? I got my BFA in graphic design, so I'm thinking about applying to SCAD for a dual degree with a MA in Graphic Design and a MFA in either illustration or squential art. I'm having trouble deciding between the two. I want as much figure drawing and painting as my brain can handle, and I also want to work on character design and whatnot. I feel like I'd get that with squential art, but I feel like a MFA in illustration is a little more pratical...

anyhoo, thanks again ^_^ sorry for rambling!

At the graduate level I would take Seq. because the quality of the teaching staff and the emphasis on forms and poses of the human body. They are also more open and a great department. I can find out what they offer to Grads or you can check out the college web site www.Scad.edu
