Heya, I posted these images before under the sketches and ideas subject... but when people gave feedback on my coloring it gave me the idea of seeking suggestions on how to color them. Here are two peices of line-art, upon which I later colored lazily with markers.

Now I want to go back to them and color them in a way that looks finished and more volumetric, but to be honest short of copying them by hand onto a canvas and then working my mediocre magic with colors and values in the physical medium, I have no clue how to do this.

So, here is where you guys come in... I will admit this stuff isn't concept art as much as it is a personal project of mine, but I'd like it if you guys can do either of 2 things.

1- Perhaps suggest a method of coloring these (I imagine I could open them in a painting program and do it that way, but I don't have a tablet so I'd probably get frustrated)
2- If one of you thinks it would be fun to try, It'd be really neat if you did a little coloring book thing and showed me what you would do with them... but only one or two people I showed these to imagined that they would want to do that, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

Interesting. Of course you could give advice on how to do standard coloring, but these arent exactly standard sketches, and whatever science they follow is mostly your own.

Id say experiment with some different media on a seperate piece of paper, and find what you feel is most comfortable over your lines. There are many ways to create the illusion of volume, but rendering each of thoes individual objects seems like quite a task.

Good luck!
