I heard about this site on TV so I started investigating because my goal in life is to become a concept artist, but before I get there I need two things: First I need your profesional oppinion about my drawings, you can see some of them at www.heavyart.go.ro, however I also have a few made in Photoshop 7 but I haven`t uploaded them yet, and Second I have to get out of this damned country called Romania `cause noone has a future in here!
So please tell me what do you think of my work... thank you.

Hi,
I don't have time to look at your site right now, but do want to let you know that your link doesn't work because there's a comma attached to the end of it.
Try this instead:

Good luck! :)

well. These are ok. You've developed nice style of tone and shade, but you can't use these to create depth primarily. The problem with your images is that they seem to lack depth. Most images come across as very flat or stiff and that's not good. Seeing as you've got yourself some nice skills in terms of tone and shade why don't you drop that for the moment and concentrate strickly on the lines that make your drawings. Figure out ways to bring them closer or farther away from the camera.

this image for example. If you study it closely I'm still having a difficult time finding out where the horizon is, or I suppose more importantly where the floor meets the wall. Do they intersect right at the bottom of the window or does it interesect a little farther down? If it's right at the window then the people are un-even with the floor and the perspective is off. It makes it feel more flat that way and keeps it from feeling real. If it does go down a bit further then the angle of the bench on the left doesn't line up with the floor, and the woman's hand leaning to the right (in the middle-right of the image) doesn't seem to touch the floor.
The anatomy is good but we need to work more on making them seem more visual. You need to figure out ways to put certain parts closer or farther away and create a depth to the actual people in the images and not just depth (as in a measurement of the Z axis) between one person to the next person behind him, or to the wall behind him.
damn these short vertical reply boxes. They frustrate me greatly.
