I like the concepts alot. For some reason the soldiers remind me of something, I just don't know what.

The last sketch in particular is great. All around a very nice idea, good luck with it.

Nice stuff- my only problem is that the german guy looks like he's more from 1940 then from 2100. While I have absolutly no idea what your plot (for lack of a better word- probably due to the fact that it is far too late for me to form any cohernt thoughts) line is, I would expect that a German soldier from 2100 would have slightly more technology on him. Maybe even a simple flack vest would make him look more- uh- high techy. But, what the hell, these look sweet. Hope you get that animation done, this has sparked my interest.

Here is the plot in a nutshell. Imagine an alteranate reality where World War II never ended and it dragged on til the year 2100. Over the course of 160 years, there have been temporary armistice between the allied and axis powers. During these short periods of peace, mankind began developing at a fast technological rate allowing them to develope space travel and the colonization and Terra-forming of planets within the galaxy.

When the story begins, the two major factions remaining in the fight is the United States now known as the United Planets of New America and Germany, now know as Imperial Germany. The American presence on Earth have been irradicated and the planet entirely controlled by the Germans. The story is about the American's final desperate offensive in retaking their homeworld, however there is a catch, the roles of who is the good guy and bad guy is to a degree reversed. The people now fighting, don't really know why they are fighting. It has always been this way. The Americans are using questionable tactics in their act of desperation, for example, they are using the dead of both sides as organic parts in the creation of cyborgs.....(which Unit-14 is a part) and the Germans are defending their homeworld.

The story revolves around two main characters, a young female German Luftwaffe pilot (I'll post her concept sketches soon) who re-examines the purpose of why she is fighting and eventually discovers her country's most closely gaurded secret, the horrific truth about why the war started and an American cyborg designated Unit-14, who starts overcoming his programming and begins to remember aspects of his former life. The story is seen from their eyes. Ultimately i want the moral of the story to be anti-war, with a very tragic ending.

Your earlier comments about the german guy looking as if he is from 1940 then from 2100 is accurate, I'm trying to get the same feel, so I based the uniform from vintage 1940 Wermacht and the gun he is carrying is based off of the WWII German MG-42. You are right in that I need to make him look more technologically advanced. Good thing I joined this Forum!!! I'm really looking foward to everyones critiques.
