My first piece in Painter 6.1

I did this to teach myself to paint digitally. After lookign at tutorials from so many people on the net, and messsing up I painted this in about 5 and a half hours. Reference used of course.

nicely done

I really like the reflection on the underside of the water.

There's just something a little off on her ear, tho.
Her right knee is strange also

otherwise, good work

Cool. I could never figure out Painter. So many options,a nd all I use is the opaque round brush. *sigh*

The water and the face are excellent, though I think the foreshortning of the lower body may be a bit off.

Would there be such a drastic change in the appearance of her skin from above to below the water? Her face looks flushed and tan while the skin below water looks much too pale. Doesn't look right to me, but I'm usually wrong, so... :D

The surface of the water looks like wings, and when my cpu was loading the picture, I thought I was looking at a picture of a very modern angel.
