once again, sorry for the lack of themes. we'll try to have a faster rythm in the near future.
this time, get ready to imagine MERCENARIES and BOUNTY HUNTERS !
no matter their form, their costume, their weapons, the universe they're in, it doesn't matter.
feel free to add basic explanations of the bounty guy you're describing, if any infos are needed, that is.
a few exemples? : boba fett, the good (clint eastwood), bob denard.....
in order to introduce this new theme, i have added a few artworks by benjamin carre. if you don't know this artist yet, pay a visit to blancfonce (http://www.blancfonce.com/), his new site.

I'm a total noob - here goes something - no reference as you can see. I don't like it but i want to contribute.
I'll make it up one day - just wanted to do something more dynamic.

"It was the enormous reward--and their grossly inflated egos--that kept the Hunters going after the infamous Flufferbun, despite the fact that not one of them had yet returned from the dangerous venture."
By 'speed painting' they mean 'pencil sketch,' right? Bwahahah. I wanted to post something in this thread for awhile but I have no means of painting them as of yet. So I cheated. BAD Nog.

hahahah....perhaps if an artist is going to behave like that then he or she should work from MASTER PAINTINGS instead.
putting a painting or photo on a lower layer and just painting on top of it wont get you far in an art career.
PLEASE DONT CLUTTER THIS GREAT THREAD WITH FLAMES...keeping the images here in this thread of the photos and such is fine...but at this point I think the best thing might be to simply delete all threads and images that have to do with these paintings (including these paint overs).
I dont want to see our site go the direction of eatpoo...flames and craziness unless its in the lounge.
what do you guys think? PM me if you have a better idea.
good job pointing that out guys.
we should make a topic about what not to do when it comes to this kind of thing. after all, there is a difference between using photo ref and being used BY IT.
