Without knowing your current ability-level, I would suggest checking out the tips and tutorials on this forum for starters.

If you're looking for concept art in the sense of 'concept design'.... in other words entertainment design (like a lot of us do here) there's lots of books to look at, but it's a little more abstract... you'll have to read into things.

Look into books that delve into Industrial design, Information Architecture, HCI (Human Computer Interation)

They usually hardcore outline the creative process of design from concept doodle to manufactured product... and they usually have long chapters on the 'conceptual artists' (sketchers, designers, etc.)

Here's some books that have helped me to sorta get a better understanding of theory, and mold a methadology.

design secrets: products (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1564966380/qid=1087410760/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-2861041-8416658?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)

That one has a lot of info and images from napkin sketches to ergonomics, and user demographics.

game over (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0966961706/qid=1087410852/sr=ka-3/ref=pd_ka_3/103-2861041-8416658)

That one completely outlines Nintendo's history and success and is basically a biography fom Myamato... it tells of his first projects at Nintendo as the only person in the 'art department' and how he created mario, zelda, and stuffs

production design (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0240804007/qid=1087411086/sr=ka-2/ref=pd_ka_2/103-2861041-8416658)

That one's great and outlines a ton of movies, and is written by the production designer of each film

donno if this helps at all, but helped me :chug:

You should probably take a crash course in the english language before you embark on this essay.

Not to mention Elok you should be able to do atleast SOME of this research yourself, you can't possibly be that lazy. No one is going to spoon feed you this stuff. Sammy put you on the right track, now do the work.
