my monitor is so dark! why! i love the cactus in the background. methinks her hair needs a tad of specularity. I mean, if her dress is so shiny...

I love the style. Is this traditional or digital?

Cactus in the background? Jetpack my man..you need to lay off the crack! ;)

I like the image, but it seems a bit dark overall. I like the dirty feel that gives it, along with the textures, but I feel like we lose a lot of info in the center of the image. For example, other than the title, I'd have no clue that she is probably holding a tomato.

It looks very watercolory...I'm curious if it's traditional or digital also.

my monitor is so dark! It looks like a cactus!!

is it not?

i could be wrong, but the strokes in the background look very round to me, evidence of photoshop...

hey guys,

thanks for the replies. i replace the colored version with this one.. honestly i winged the color in a few minutes and wasn't happy with it.

shin ~ she's worried ;)
jet ~ you're a cactus. it's true, her hair could use some specularity. when i revisit it'll happen.
fukifino ~ i agree, it is dark. also my monitor just got caillbrated and made everything generally lighter, i bet that's it too.
nick ~ all digital, with a photo-based texture for the grain.

Long time sense i've seen work from you nova! looking good. i like what you got going with her face. and i really liked the mood of the last one, even if it was a rush job with the color.

more!

Brilliant, love it! You're WWW is a livejournal but where's all your other work? You should showcase it as this is great work.

the lj will do for now though!
