Well this one warents a little explination,
imade this portrait after i got back from the TOOL concert. they are one of my favorite bands, and it was one of the single greatest live performances i have ever seen in my life. the experience was overwhelming to say the least. Maynard ended the show with a message, he told the audiance that he hoped his performance left us all with a "feeling" he urged us to take that feeling and create something positive with it, I felt like he was talking right to me. this is what I created with his "feeling" sitll fresh in my mind and my heart.

awesome image, this one. i really love the organic look of this, and the colors are brilliant. atleast to me.

i'm so jealous! i have to see tool again, whenever they come back down.

That is so awesome it transends words...I love tool I saw them for the first time when I was 16 durning there Aenima tour at Roseland Ball room in NY...Blew me away...its so gratifying to know that music can inspire you to create such incredible art. I find music inspires me the most.

It really does fit well, especially with all the Alex Gray stuff they have been using for their album art. TOOL is an awesome band and Ive been thinking about doing some pieces based on their songs. This just inspired me even more. Thank you!

the moment I looked at this, I thought "wow, this reminds me of Tool imagery"

good to see I was able to interpret it! looks awesome. :teeth:

This is my favorite SP of yours. Tool is currently my favorite band and you were able to grasp the feeling of their music and their imagery quite well.
You were amazing to meet at Revelations! See you 'round!

It's beautiful! There are so many colours, and the eyes look glossy. Many details, too. Did you use Photoshop or Painter?
