Lo, I may have to design a corp id package for a new business soon, and have no idea how i should price it. I mean all i am actually designing is the logo, but how much should i charge for it, including business card/comp slip/letterheard. Would I bump up the printing costs a bit?

This is really annoying, cos any normal illustration is piss to price. Any help is REALLLY appreciated :D

Cheers peace.

I'm assuming this is a freelance contract work. For a corporate ID package I would price per project unless they agree to per hour. (you get more money) Don't feel bad about pricing confidently as long as you can bring the goods, they're a corporation - they can afford you and ultimately by going with a freelancer they save money in the long run. Remember you lose all rights to the design so be sure to figure that in when you give the pricing. I'd say a ballpark figure around $1500. A logo itself runs around $500. Add letterheads, business cards and it's around there. Hope that helped.

Cheers bud, i really need to know the legal side to it as well. I mean things like contracts, copyright etc etc. I said my hourly rate was £20, but I may say an exact price. keeping in mind i think its a small business, so they may not be able to afford much. When u say $500 for the logo and $1500 for the package, is that including print costs?

Cheers peace.
