I just bought one yesterday called "The Artists Complete Guide to Figure Drawing" by Anthony Ryder. This guy is amazing. He reminds me of the masters. But anyways, he covers figure drawing head to toe (no pun intended) Ive already learned alot of cool things from his book. Id suggest it to anybody on these forums. (cept maybe Android...)

Hi, me again. Burnie Hogart make best anatomy books I have ever seen. He don't bother you with some bones, skin structure. He not representate his drowing skill than he show only what you need. Just look and you will see.

well, since aou are searching for art and ref books, i think i'd recommend the art of metal gear solid artbook by yoji shinkawa.
it's very refreshing to see such unusul concept art and charismatic illustrations.
he's the guy who did all the brush pen imagery for mgs.
plus, there is an interesting interview with shinkawa and yoshitaka amano in it. :)
