Just something I worked on. Still not too comfortable with Painter.. Once a photoshop user, always one i guess. ;P

the shapes are cool, but I think it could be improved if you were to spend more time working with the largest shapes in the figure to make sure that the values are right. for instance, her elbow doesnt come forward like it should because the values are a bit off.

Cool. The colors are a little bit earthy. I like the eyes alot. Great for being new to painter. :p

Ozan is right - the elbow looks pressed against her body, making the pose sort of 'break down'. Great sickly greens and yellows tho !

I agree with the crits above but the overall has a really nice depth to it. I mean the application appears to have that thick liquidity to it. The color scheme rocks. Do another.

thanks guys, the point about the elbow makes sense. I guess I didn't think about that when I was painting I guess I was too focused on how light was dissipating as opposed to the actual positioning of the body and how they might be compensated by the light. I will keep an eye out for that from now on.

LoL thanks Juste. No Maximo sadly, but I am in line with some other comic work. Keep an eye out in Nintendo Power. I guess thats all I can say, without getting in trouble. ;P
