that is RAD!!
something about the positioning of the legs bothers me. cant really tell where hes putting his weight. looks like hes squatting both legs and im almost sure that thats not what you were entending.
maby if you really muted that highlight on HIS right knee it wouldnt look like its coming towards us as much. maby even black it out? his hand would probably drop a shadow over it anyway.
great work!

Very cool, a bit dark, but very cool.
All your pieces seem to resonate a darkness about them, that is, not so much the theme of the paintings, but how you paint them. I really like this one and your work is very impressive.

keun-chul - uhh..
Lono - Thanks man, glad you liked it. Yeah agree with you about the knee getting darker, the value seems abit high for where it is..
Batteram - Thanks alot. I do get pretty dark with areas when I paint, to contrast against the lights. Find it helps create more mood and overall balance to a piece.

Impressive. I like the rendering of the head.
The leftmost wing is a bit patchy and makes the arm harder to read. I'm also wondering if the highlight in the armpit would be as bright/sharp.
The stretched out leg is a bit hard to understand posewise. Perhaps it could be clarified with some light separating it from the BG.
The fist is too wide around the knuckles?

i have to say i agree with the comments about the leg positioning. upon looking at the artwork immediately the legs popped out at me. it just doesn't look right. perhaps the perspective is in need of tweaking... can't tell where he's putting his weight.
aside from that i love the atmospheric lighting and the silhouettes. very convincing and dramatic. love the work so keep it up!

Wow I love the mood and the colors they are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The background adds so much to the image. I agree with the comments on the leg...one other thing I noticed that was under his pectoral muscle...the one in the light...it is a very harsh black line. It flattens it out IMO...the stomach muscles look saaawwwweeeeetttttt. Awesome work man.

Prometheus/ANJ - Yeah the wings are quite patchy. I did leave them like that intentionally tho, as this piece was alreay tightening up more than I usually like, wanted to retain some looseness..
Tints under the chest/armpit, nah probably wouldn't be that bright realisticly, just wanted some areas to pop out against the darks, kinda the bisley thing with the extreme tinting I guess.
Probably right about the leg, it is meant to be bending slightly, which is why I lit cap on the knee like that, tho looks like that didn't work so well. Some extra light like you suggesting probably would have helped.
Hands are meant to be abit oversized intentionally, to make him look more powerful.
Ninezero - Yeah, you and Lono are right about the legs.. They kinda didn't bother me that much at first, tho while I watch it load, they do pop as odd, don't really flow with the upper half of the pic.
I kinda planned to have him standing a little animalistic (rather than classic hero pose), both legs abit bent, like he's ready to spring/fly. Might have made them a little too straight (and parallel) from the knee down. Don't think I'm gonna change this piece as I want to move on now, tho I'll keep the weight issue in mind. Thanks man.
MindCandyMan - Cheers, yeah shadow could have had a touch more blend there, I have a habit of leaving extremely harsh shadows when I paint.. I do it make the lighting pop.
Thank again for your comments/input people.
