This is my 300th post and my FIRST post/thread with an image, apart from the thunderdome and speedpaint threads...
The idea behind this creature:
There are many creatures/aliens designed, which have more than 2 eyes or ears to make it not human-like. But I never saw (there is probably) a creature with more than one mouth...so i thought of one which has got one mouth to snatch and hold prey, while the other mouth is for biting pieces off and eating its victim...(ok, my creature also has got more eyes than two, but it was conceptual necessary - so that it can see the surrounding better, because the big jaw would handicap its range of vision)

I agree with Jason. Keep those pieces coming. I also love the insane in it. Really nice piece. U know who else I've never seen a piece from. Amphex, what's up with that? He posts like crazy but no pics:confused:
Glad u finally posted something, fozz!:)

Um....Can i...uh...point out something? The forward mouth would not be able to withstand any pressure at'all with the small supports. A squirming aminal would rip the lower one right off if it was a bug un.
The skill in the painting is compelling. ;)

I don't belive!!! Why don't you take the time for at least every 30th post to post your own stuff? It would be surely a big enrichment to this forum. At least I would definitly love to see more twomouththrillerbeasts...and hug them :P

Manley - Comedy, a compliment, and a threat all in one post. Hilarious.
Fozzy - I think this is great. I like the choice of colors. They make me think the skin could be very smooth
maybe with a thin layer of fur.
I'd love to see a walk cycle for this thing. I think that would be interesting.
By any chance were you influenced by some of the Oddworld artwork?
Definetly a good creature design.

usagi yojimbo:
yes, i thought of the alien as i wrote down the thing, that i never saw one creature with two mouths, but then again i wasn't sure, if they weren't two creatures in one, instead of two mouths (anyone understood? I didn't :))...thank you!
Jason Manley:
Thx, jason! Haha, yes the other view :bootyshak:...you gave me the idea of doing this...but considering the size of its prey...oooowwww....i'll try to post more...the question is more what? :)

The Best part about this is easily the color of the skin and the way you blended it. You can tell just by looking at it that he has smooth yet dry skin. Similar to a...a...well, a nightmarish Gnawing monster. But anyways, very nice job!
