Welcome to our little forum, your work is inspiring, the fluidity of your line melts me. reminds me of Alfonse mucha on acid ( that is a compliment) .
it is a bit difficult to make out some of the shapes and forms in the first two but your lines are so beautifull and alive that I dont mind searching out the form myself.

great work. please post more.

The amount of detail in these pieces is amazing. Your work kind of looks a cross between surrealistic fantasy.
These drawings are very unique and I like your style. Great stuff.

See if you can scan/post higher resolution images. It feels like we're losing alot of detail. Of which there is so much!

wow.
it is kinda hard for me to actually get all that's happening in these. there's just too much detail in such small space.
but i love your style. it is clean yet chaotic at the same time.

Since FrailFreak is off travelling and all of the current scanned works reside on my server I am posting some requested details of the above sketches....BTW the above sketches are 11" x 34" each to give you a sense of scale. Done in graphite on 11" x 17" copy paper taped together to form the larger page size. Thanks to everyone for giving FrailFreak a warm welcome. I'm sure we will all be treated to some more wonderful work after the holidays.

Definitely impressive - the closeups are fantasmagorical!
I see a Mucha influence big time....
but then I see all of this fairy work and holy crap!
I just finished reading a fab book by Eoin Colfer called "Artemis Fowl" - it has a great tie in with the characters you have created and may give insight to some interesting ways of generating the fairy folk, trolls, and the like. It's a great story and your drawings breathe life into the visual cues found in the literature.
Any color work?
I'd love to see these rendered out in color just for the sake of a challenge.
Bravo!

For some reason your work and quality of line gives me a very "Hindu" feeling. I really like it. Want more. :)

Dude - these are AWESOME. But my only complaint is that, especially with the big ones, they get too complex and I can't always make them out. I have to be a certain distance away to see them completely. Know what I mean?
I'm sure you can color well as well as use value, so what about maybe trying to really flesh something complex out, maybe with value or tone, so it's more readable?
Anyway, I think the guy with the fish is my favorite, that and the rabid bunny. Really great articulation and character, to say nothing of imagination! They have this sensual creepy thing going for them that's real unique.
I'm inspired. How long have you been drawing/how old are you, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks! I will color the pics soon...hopefully soon.I also realized that color will help define the shapes, so I will definitely dive into that. And, I drew since I was a wee lass, and I am 20 now. :)
