[ Ha, Copy/Paste from teh Poo!

If you didn't know, these are my entries for the Horsemen contest hold on eatpoo.com. Though I still have one to do...I'm not entirely sure if I will get that one finished before Saturday.

Also, you can check my WIP thread here on CA; http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22657 ]

Name: Famine

- Explanation: This big fat guy eats everything. He's always hungry. Though it looks like he's as slow as a turtle, he got these little slave creatures that work for him. They are fast, and steal the food from the people. They bring hunger where ever they come. When the guy eats it, his stomach produces some sort of tempting gas. This gas flows through the tubes that, are attached directly to it's stomach, and leaves the body through the little chimney things, to...tempt the poeple with all the food he got...

Name: Death
http://img65.photobucket.com/albums/v199/Tayama/death4.jpg
[Click for bigger version; http://members.lycos.nl/tayama2/artwork/deathfinished.jpg ]

- Explanation: He slaughter people to dead, but at the same time he is also the bringer of life. The tubes are connected into his body, which produces some liquid stuff. This is an important part of giving life to the dead, where he uses it like some sort of magic.

Name: War
http://img65.photobucket.com/albums/v199/Tayama/warfinished.jpg
[Click for bigger version; http://members.lycos.nl/tayama2/artwork/warfinished.jpg ]

- Explanation: This one is enormous. He can overwhelm an whole army by itself... He got lots of samurai influences, [maybe he was a samurai before he was forced to work for the evil?], like the flags on his back, the pants and the katana's. With these big hands it would look stupid if he only had one or two swords, so he just holds 20 swords in one hand.

Name: Pestilence
http://img65.photobucket.com/albums/v199/Tayama/pestilencefinishedklein.jpg
[Click for bigger version; http://members.lycos.nl/tayama2/artwork/pestilencefinishedgroot.jpg ]

- Explanation: Pestilence, the bringer of sickness. Everywhere he comes, deadly sicknesses breaks out. People start dying in very slow way, infecting each other. He wears a generator on his back, which produces all kind of diseases and spread it at the same time. He also uses a gun like thing and syringes to do his job.

These are some really solid designs. I'm loving them. I don't, however, love the choice of paper...maybe it's just the scans but these seem a little hard to make out. Or maybe you just need to add some more whites to really bring out the form. The lights are barely noticeable against the "middle" value of the paper.

Are these charcoal? If so, even more props to you!

arghmisfit; Ha, thanks... You chan check the WIP thread for more XD

fukifino; Yeah, the scans aren't that good. The paper is also a bit to big for the scanner... But I like the paper, I just like drawing on it...it's so different than normal white paper.

Oh, it's just pencils and Pastel.

Ramon; Ha, thanks, ramon. :D

SaIiLdVaEnR; Hm...you can read my first post [first lines] to get an answer on your question XD

Cool stuff...Might I suggest bumping up the contrast they are a bit too saturated and you could see em better.

I'd adjust the contrast a little so that some of the smaller details stand out. Other than that great work!

They're awesome! But they kinda blend in with the background, do something about the contrast!

Way cool, would like them better if they had a bit thicke/blacker lines.
