Once again you continue to amaze dodowa. I thought all dodo's were extinct, well, it seems the best dodo managed to survive and produce damn good artwork :)
Your work is a cross between realism and yet has sketchy feel. It is just so unique and judging by how many strokes you put into one piece, you must be very patient. This piece is once again very cool.
By the way, are you male or female?

dude, that is so freakin cool. all your work is amazing. i love your painterly style. the white lace and ruffles on her dress reminds me a lot of how velasquez painted. great work, you need a webpage dammit!! hehe.

Amazing peice: one thought though. Maybe the eyes could be less black. They kinda look like a steriotypical alien's eyes right now, you know the little green men kind:)

holy @!$%, the textures u added 2 the 2nd version really takes away the painter style and gives a rough but filmish look to it, u know, the old black and white film look. i agree with DustinTrimble, the eyes r a bit greenmanish, but maybe a little more light would help?. i like both versions, but the 2nd 1 rocks, expecailly her rugged cloth and the colder overall look.

Dodowa, you are definitely my favorite these days ! you are so skilled, so unfair with us, you filthy genius :bash:

I'm not sure the textures you added to your beautiful masterpiece is really worth it. Sure it breaks the Painter look but you lose too many color informations and details in the process. If you really want to plunge your pieces in a texture bath I think you should try not to be that obvious.

Definitely you are NOT Chris Shy, I think you're far bigger that him (sorry mr Shy if you read this) so why be ashaimed of your Painter style ? to me the first one is so powerful.
