So let me preface this by saying that concept are is by no means my forte. However, it's something that's recently piqued my interest, I'll explain below.

So I'm now in my second year at Hampshire College her in Amherst, MA. Anyone ever heard of it? I'm studying computer animation and pretty much everything related to that. I've done some digital imaging, video, 3D animation, art history, a bit of programming/computer graphics work, and most recently an art class. I have a semi-solid background in art from highschool but this has been my first big foray since then. Mostly we've been doing life drawing of various types.

So I just finished a class where 16 people spent a semester making a short film starting with a story and taking it all the way to the big screen. In fact we screened it last night (which rocked). I got to do play a bunch of roles which included concept artist in the beggining of production. Needless to say I was very intrigued by the process. But drawing from memory/imagination is sure one place where I could use a whole lotta work. Definitely doesn't come naturally to me. Then again art never did either, gotta work at it ;) So yeah here's a little gallery I whipped up, I haven't done something like this in a couple years now. I also included a half-finished animation that I did last year. I'm finishing it as an independant project this January term.

Allright. Everything *should* be in working condition. I'm learning html the stupid way. How did I make it through that last 6 years as a serious computer user and not know html? Who knows.

Not to beat a dead horse but.... 142 views and one reply? Man. I've been on several non-art boards before and the posting rate was veeery different.
