this was just a 5minute sketch that i used when practicing painting one of my first trys at doing a painting showing up pretty damn dark here for some reason! I just stoped cuase i didnt realy know where to go next, it needs contrast for sure but as far as choosing a light source and doing the armor im kinda lost ?

Hmm thank you very much! There are actauly tons of mistakes in the poprtions of it the arm band and arm chest and face could be diffrent /bigger so i was only posting for paint help but aparently it just sucks haha oh well thought id at least try to get some tips !

I really really like what you've got so far, so I did a quick photoshop job to give you some pointers to what I think you could do.
Just use it as some kind of guide(although this paint-over isn't perfect either).
I changed the hands, sword(if that's what it was supposed to be), chest/stomach, legs, arm, and added a different background.
Although I'm not such a hot artist, I hope it at least can give you some pointers. :)
Her left hand really stinks in my version, I just had to do a quick one.
