Keeping up the sea theme in my recent posts...just a quick color sketch exploring the idea of a sea creature whose above-water profile might look like a ship from a distance.

Cool concept man. I like the dragon-esque feel from it. However, i have one Crit: It doesnt quite seem submerged. The texture of this Beast above the water is identical to the texture submerged. I would tweak the skin below surface, Sorry I'm not sure how...
Anyway, great stlye, keep it up

Quite true, Epoch. I discarded "wet shading" and color tinting below the waterline for clarity, which is why the sea foam also passes behind the creature. Meant to be more of an evocative background than a realistic scene (plus, easier to derive a 3d model from this approach)...
