Main Loop- I'm a huge fan of your daily sketchbook, thought you'd probably never no it cause I almost never post, anyway I had to finally respond to this thread it just put it over the top for me great really great stuff you have here, I plan on starting my on dsb because of you, you're a huge inspiration to an aspiring artist. So are what are you using? gouche or maybe acrylics I imagine since it's in a sketchbook I can't really see you using oils. Like I said great stuff if I had to Critique I'd say only thing bothering me is the face peeking over the shoulder on the second one it seems to be a higher key and even different color scheme than the rest of the painting.
well please keep this and your daily sketchbook updated! I hope to see you around there and the life painting thread:chug:

darkstrider: No way, cant use oils in a sketchbook! how would you ever close it? not to mention the oils eating through the paper.. The cover was a ballpoint pen, watercolor, and i think the white bg was bleed-proof white.. its like gouache but even thicker and more opaque.. pen& ink artists use it to cover mistakes..
vctr: wow, thanks, thats the highest compliment anyone's given me here.. the male studies are in acrylics, and the women are watercolor & white ink, no actually the last one was watercolor and colored pencil.. stay tuned, ill try updating this a lot
