whut up, i havent posted any of my own crap for a long time,

this is from a little dsg-type thing they do over at cgchat called "art camp" I never posted it, sometimes i just look at the dsg or artcamp to get an idea of what to draw. so the topic was to "draw a child who is totally evil or good". so of course i went with evil cause it's easy.
I would like some crits though, Im trying to get better with lighting and giving form through color usage.

thanks for the comments! It kind of struck me as a mini-leatherface too :) His mask is supposed to be a skullcap with a hole punched through for his little eye hole.
my favorite part of coloring is the teddybear, and his right elbow. I think I did a goodjob defining shape with the colors.
my least favorite parts are his feet, (kind of lost motivation) and his shirt, i feel it could be alot crisper.

yeah ghostrider kicks azz. a burning skull dressed in leather riding a toughass motercycle. dosent get more hard ass than that. ;)

Hehe very evil. I think the little tally marks are funny. At this res it looks a bit blurry. I think that's my comp though. Very nice man!

Pretty good, but it seems like there's too much empty space, and since he's not doing anything besides standing there looking spooky, the entire piece comes off as somewhat static. It wouldn't hold the viewer's attention very long.

It looks extremely two dimensional right now, as it lacks depth. Maybe you could add in a shadow that stretches along the "floor" and up an invisible wall. That would give a the piece a lot more vitality and life. Plus, shadows are universally a spooky thing, and would add to your piece's atmosphere. :)

WildSpruceMoose: Thanks, The little marks were just sort of an after thougt, but they can be taken to have some sort of meaning. and it might be a little blurry, but that's the actual size of the painting, like 800x? somthing pixels.

Zwalharulzuki:Thanks for the thoughtfull crit. and I do see what you mean, i sometimes cant decide if im making a full blown compostition or a character model sheet, so my work suffers. a shadow would add some depth though.
