lancers are my favorite cars of all time! neeeaaato! as for the girlie, id like to see some flow to that hair... right now it looks really stiff. also, i think the eyes and wings could use a little work. how are you planning to color it?

The hair indeed needs some work. This really looks strange. Also the upperbody seems a little long compared to the legs.

I do like the claw things on her belly and breasts. Although they seem to pull her breasts back reall hard instead of supporting them. This could be on purpose offcourse.

I would like to see how it turns out on the car.

the legs could be a little curvier I think. Check this site out, it was posted somewhere else in this forum: Guide to poses for the female model (http://www.photographytips.com/page.cfm/374) if you scroll all the way down, there are hundreds of pics of the female model in various poses. try to reference a little more anatomy for her arms, hips and legs.

Thanks for the crits

To all .... I was trying to, not really copy, but.. i guess learn from fengs art. www.artbyfeng.com. that was where i was spending most of my time when drawing these pics.. its a different style then i normally do.

Espaki - checked your site.. Those are very good reference, but do you know of a site for more of a comic book style...

gray - the hair style was being copied from feng.. but it does need a little work.. I think when I color it, it will look better.. but I'll work on it thanks.

chris - I'm planning on coloring it in photoshop....

Here's the process of what I'm about to "try" to do :)

after I get the initial sketch of the female... I'm going to blow it up to 11x17 and change the dpi to 600, redraw over it in photoshop... then color it.. then put it in illustrator, so it can be sized to the correct size for the car, and save it as a eps... I mail it to this dude i know who can print and die cut a HUGE vynal (sp) decal that gets cut into chunks and then like a sticker (but not as easy) gets placed on the car. Its a special kind of ink an such that it will never fade or anything like that. Kind of a cool idea! I'll keep you guys posted...

party like a rockstar :)

I would never put anything like this on my car (Rx7). But good luck, and hope to see final and make sure anatomy is right, looks really off.

the eyes on this one are better, but the anatomy is still off. check out http://www.fineart.sk for lots of reference pics and tutorials. check out the loomis stuff too for sure, hes an incredibly underrated teacher. hey, porns a good source too, and im posotive you could find a pose similar to that somewhere for reference, unless youre on a family comp, then thats not recommended, lol. also, form my own taste in design, i wouldnt want just a chick airbrushed onto my ride, id want it to be intergrated into it. for instance, maybe some horizontal stripes going down the sides with the chick 'bordered' by em. i dunno... i just think it should tie into the car more.

also, dont hide her right arm with her hair. first of all, the way her arm is turned, her head would not be resting on it and her fingers would be interlocked with her hair, making some of her fingers visible.
