hey all, I've never posted in the sculpting section before... it's cool in here... this is such an awesome place. anyway... I'm helping my boyfriend, Roger, on a short film... it involves vary-ing sizes of moth... i thought they turned out kinda cool, so I thought I'd post some pics!! (sorry for the poor quality on some, i took them w/ my palm pilot. :) my camera broke. :(

so first is a stop motion moth (roger built the puppet, i built the wings and painted it):

and a moth suit (not the full costume... this is pretty much all mine, (roger's in the suit)

and my personal fave, a moth puppet (it's a two person puppet, one for the head, and the other controls the legs... roger made the head, i made the rest and painted again)

anyway, I hadn't sewn in 8 years before this and, this is our first puppet, costume, and stop-motion puppet... so I thought they were pretty fun... any comments or crits are welcome, i know it's hard to see the construction, sorry bout that...

thanks Mike! haha, James (the boy) cracked me up when he said that in the interview... I was totally expecting like "Noah's Ark," or "The lion's den..." or something... when he said that, i totally had to rethink my approach to it, which was great...
