This is a preliminary picture for a matte painting I hope to create at some point. I'm in a prolonged Blade Runner obsessive phase at the moment.

looks cool, pud. I like the lights. but how about a reflection of the bridge in the water? or is not suposed to be that high up.

Very awsome, I really like the moton effect you got going on the ligts and the bright parts of the water. You should hang this up on your wall. I am confused though, the scene looks like early morning, but with all the lights on I feel that it should be sunset, not that is really matters, its still an awsome piece.

Nice, Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges as a reference I'm assuming?

Aerythes: cheers mate, I'm glad you liked it. I used reference for some of the foreground buildings, the rest is out of my head.

ozan: You're right, what a schoolboy error. Post in haste repent at leisure eh? I think I'll leave it as it is, as a warning to others.

Jens: Hey! I worked for Bullfrog a few years ago. Maybe the influence is rubbing off.

It would be really interesting to see a step-by-step process of this piece. Maybe you have file versions saved somewhere on your machine?

viag: thanks man. Much appreciated. I just visited your site. You've got Parisian style coming out of your ears!

dejan: Unfortunately I didn't make this with a tutorial/walkthrough in mind. There are way too many 80+mb psd files on my HD, and this one wasn't a keeper. There are a couple of early stages I could post, but nothing too enlightening. I'll make a walkthrough for the next cityscape I post.
