Hi all, i think this is my second post in the 3-d section. I've been working on improving my general modeling skills and trying to get better at skinning low poly models. I did this Kenworth K100 and think that it's coming along pretty good. I still need to add all the chrome and some additional clicks and whistles. Any crits comments or general advice would be appreciated.

first off- take a look at your model. really good look.

do you
a. see this type of texture in the real world?
b. do you see scratches/dents/grum since these truck drivers drive all over the place.
c. when two object meets (esp outside object) they are never clean.
d. when you play a modern game do the trucks look like this? (HL2 would be a good goal to shoot)

these are some of the things I always ask my self when I do any type of modeling/texturing. Since you want to give the player the illusion of real life as much as possible.

seems to match your reference okay...

but I second poly_cube in something that he/she suggests more than says, and that is the practicality of the model. It's obviously a show truck, but how often do you see those?

Also, I'd like to see a poly count, and some sort of wireframe to get an idea of your topology.
