Yo thanks dude. Yeah... you are right, someone else told me the same thing, I'll reduce the light stuff a bit.. but I won't be posting it cause it's not that necessary..
I ain't talking crap about Squall, he is cool, but the gunblade... it's just kinda pointless.. I mean, yeah, it's a blade, with a gun handle, but it doesn't shoot or anything, It should just be "Blade, with Gun Handle", but this is just my stupid ranting... I guess the gun handle enhance the "elegance" feel of it..
I'm more of a practical logical guy than a decorative person.. Stuff that I do must have a purpose.. I just don't know why I'm like that.. This kinda makes me not a good art person.. I guess I should get this crazy thinking off me for a while..

Looks good, the blades seem to form a pretty formidable weapon, although the fact they can only cut in one direction might make it easier for somone to fight him.
The gun I'm not to sure about. Assuming aiming would involve aiming the elbow to point the barrel. The kickback might cause problems both with aiming and with his shoulder, possibly even causing damage to the joint.
Possibly that could be solved by adding a hold to the gun (assuming there isn't one that we can't see) for his right arm to support it too, cutting down on the force applied to the left arm which will be in an akward position.
Anyway, nice job with the design, it does look pretty impressive

That's the problem I'm facing now, I am trying to figure out a way to fire the gun with support and aim. This design is still in early stage, there is another version of my gunblade design. That one is almost perfect.
here's my old gunblade design. (the guy in front)

Now I just have to work more on the this new concept...

Just a quick anatomy thing on the first drawing. Where did his left shoulder go? I mean that the space between his chest are and the biceps is huge? You hide it with the shoulder pad, but its too much actually. Oh yeah, and he seems to carry sucha huge weapon with no difficulty at all...well, I guess its a style thing. Not a bad weapon design though :D the new one is a lot better

Yeah.. the arms is too far away from the body... I noticed that after I finished colouring.. well, halfway through colouring, but I was lazy to change it, the whole purpose of this pic is the Weapon.. :P

the strike was more powerful if he pulled the trigger as the blade was making contact.

I think the idea behind it was a sort of short-range shot-gun. if you pulled the trigger while the blade was in the villain, a gunshot was heard.
regardless, that weapon is pretty slick.

oh daym cyqique.. didn't know you were over here..
think you might wanna break down the anatomy a lil to his structure w/o clothing, it should help witht he anatomy issues.. can't crit too much though, for i'm mildly enebriated

actually sqaull can shoot with his "gunbalde" just press X when he hits/strikes the enemy with the sword and you will get a flash and more damage = shoot from the blade.
Have fun !
Calle. =)
