Well, here's my first attempt at drawing sequentials in about 5 years. I'll be drawing one before this and one or two after it, then painting them all. If anyone sees anything blatantly wrong with this one, I'm not opposed to going back and fixing it, so don't be afraid to crit.

well, the third panel's pretty lame -- and i mean that strictly in composition terms. the drawing is fine. There's too much of that knight in the picture. Maybe just his bust would be fine. I get the impression that this picture would look best seen from the POV of the maiden. Less background, more focus on the dragon. But don't make it a black blob in the sky...where's the element of surprise there?

Also, I noticed your characters never really seem to make eye contact with each other.

I agree- the third panel has some issues. I would even go far enough to say that I would remove the dragon completely. You show it in her eyes - and that seems to be best. Overall I like the work.

Here's a WIP shot of what the colors will look like.

the placement of the sword in the first frame is odd. It looks like he wants to show his sword, but he knows he's in a comic book, and that a frame would block it if he put it where it should be.
the girl's closeup is too symmetrical. its apparent that you copied and pasted half the face. The angle of her eyes is the same, and the dragons reflection looks like its the logo for her brand of eyes.
the strong points are the nice clean lines and varying weight.
