Hello!
I do not know if this is the correct area to post this
I'm trying to figure out a good way to paint faceted crystals and stones, transparent and opaque.
But I'm having a hard time identifying the behavior of light and how it reflects and refracts.
paint from a photo is easy but when I try to do something different I do not know if I'm doing it right.
Is there some technique to be more precise about the behavior of light in these cases?
I know that observation is important, but in this case everything seems to be very variable.
Here in this picture i painted a stylized crystal for training the light, a transparent and one opaque with a light source.
