Hey folks,
My friend and life drawing instructor at the California Art Institute in Westlake Village, Rick Morris is having his first show (mostly drawings, some paintings). Rick's been a fixture in life drawing and painting classes at L.A. area private art schools (CAI, Associates, LAAFig, etc...) for several years and is one of the up-and-coming painters coming out of CAI. Former classmates and young artists might be interested in attending the reception and meeting other local CAI students and instructors, hang out, make new drinking buddies, and pick each other's brains. He's a great guy, talented, hardworking, yet humble, has a cool Red Hot Chili Peppers tattoo and he'd enjoy it if you dropped by and introduced yourself.
