WOO HOO!!!
..Okay, after some exceeded bandwidth trauma, I am back online, and to prove it here is a finished pencil drawing of Torquemada based on a drawing the brilliant Kevin O Neill did on an Eagle re-print comic. I might paint this one day when I have a spare 15 hours or so, and when I do, I'll post the snecker up here so you can all go; "urg... it's revolting Kev!"

By the way, this site is great. I really appreciate all the comments and tips etc, I hope I can improve because of it! Cheers! :chug:

How big is this? You gonna watercolor it? Funk it out like those Geiger aliens. I like the shape of its head the best, nice idea.

Talk about bringing up the past. I use to read some comics back in the early eighties. I think they were called, Nemisis, and I would sware you photcopied one of the pages. I always wanted to get the set, cause I always thought they gave great inspiration.

..yeah dude, this drawing is one of teh characters from those early Nemesis comics. The artist was Kev O Neill, his work was stunning stuff, and went a long way to developing my interest in comic art. I have the full set of Nemesis Reprint comics published by Eagle in America, and the cover to issue.. er... 5 I think is a character called Torquemada drawn in exactly this pose. I might be able to post up a picture of it...

..I love this image so much I wanted to do my own version of it, so I did! My version is on A3 (about 14" X 22") water colour paper, and I WILL paint it one day.. maybe this year if I can find some time....
