EOW 171 :: Ho Chi Minh Grand Hotel, At Sunset
suggested by gunsbins
Topic brief:
“We invite you to begin your Vietnam sightseeing with Ho Chi Minh Grand Hotel, the tallest building in the world. The Grand Hotel skyscraper is a world-class destination and a testament to how far gravity technology has come. The world's tallest building is completely airborne!”
This week’s topic is somewhat of a continuation of the topic Shanghai in 2112 in the sense that it’s another Asian science fiction setting.
Equipped with a pool, parking lot, and a nice view to boot...the hotel should be located in the sky, with any kind of hanging structure or anti gravity technology, and you are to design a scene at sunset or dawn for a more dramatic feel. Imagine that this picture will define the hotel for an advertising campaign or something that’d appear on an attraction brochure.

Molecular Resonance antigravity technology (popularly known as Bubbletech) has been around for decades. It has been used in transport vehicles, expos, and some upscale houses. Ho Chi Minh Grand is by far the largest application of antigravity tech in the world to date. Amenities include a convention center, planetarium and observatory, "underground" parking, and an 18-hole "sky high" golf course.

The Grand Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City acts as a gateway to the heavens. Suspended by magnetic forces, the hotel is able to ascend beyond the atmosphere, offering delightful views across Asia and beyond

Floating 10,000 ft above the River lowlands of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh Grand Hotel and Casino Resort.
Moisture capture technologies feed the hundreds of fountains and pools that circle the resorts hub, whilst at the same time giving the illusion of the complex floating on clouds.
