This is great! Really nice consistent style.

Looking forward to more of your works.

Oh yeah, and can I ask what medium you used to make these?

Beautiful, I love the quick translucent panels on either side of each page. Really incredible character development and great storytelling!

I also love that you keep the "mystery" and magic of the visitor

Awesome!

Z prepacenym by som si chcel trocho vyskusat svoju slovencinu :)

Thank you all:) Story (text) isn't mine, it's made by friend Tomas Prokupek. I like this comics very much, it's rather different from what I'm usually doing, and I feel this can be the way for me in the future... Maybe. Maybe not:)
Technique - it's true "mixed media": crayon, black and white charocal, black and white acrylic, felt-tip pen... all on brown canson paper. Text frames are from the same paper of different color, only lettering is made on computer.

OTTAR: Tvoje slovenstina je dobra, odkud jsi?:) Ten text je v originale citelnejsi. A samozrejme diky za slova uznani...

monochome,

normally I don't like comics as they just not please my taste, but this one is really sweet. I don't no about the typo, it's hard to read, but on the other hand meshes very well with your character. Maybe a similar more readable font would do good. Anyways, I enjoyed it very much.

Thanks
Marko

This is PROBABLY the best short comic I have ever seen. It's got that Neil Gaiman feel and such a good idea driving the whole thing. The art is fantastic, the sequences work amazingly well (I especially love when he turns on the lamp), and even the text is cool! Tell me you do this professionally so I can go find everything you've ever made.

DAMN I LOVE IT!

Thank you all. I will post more soon, but like I said - it's quite different from this one...

MARKO: Yes, I know about the typo. It's more readable in largef format, but you are right, maybe some font could help.

Greetings,
At first sight, i tried to read the whole story in a quick manner. But it caught me in .. some way. You did a really good job with this one. It's hard sometime to "understand" how the character interacts with the things, but it's a real pleasure to decipher the story.
I agree with Marko about the typo; it's hard to read. But it adds much to the atmosphere, especially the choice of the large curved branch of letters like "g" or "y".

I also really appreciate the small parallel story in the small illustrations, it gives a more "human" approach of the character.

Great work! I will watch for more of you :)

I love it. The little side-strips are brilliant, it's a montage that makes sense and fleshes out the character, who is a great creation. This screams to be published.

Hm, this is an old post, I didn't know someone will still reply:)
Thanks.
It was published, in two magazines in Czech and one in Poland - but if someone would want it to publish again, I'll be happy...:)

yep my main critique would be the one Marko pointed out: at least at these dimensions, and on-screen, they're pretty hard to read.
