The texture and markmaking in the piece is really nice, especially in the Monet-esque sky in the background.
The inkwork works well, and you really got a nice mix of so heavy and light wash of color.
The only thing I want to know is how much of it is drawn, collaged, and or Photoshoped.

thanks! :)
the drawing was done with a brush and ink on vellum bristol.

everything else was done in photoshop.

This is great! I really like this for some reason. It's very abstract, but I think it becomes a nice piece once you add the background and the type.

that's a beautiful piece. The colors really work well. It's abstract and gritty.
one thing i have a huge issue with is the water. It kind of looks like a tacky photoshop filter or some odd use of the smudge tool. At this point it really detracts from the great image.

requiem: thank you for the comments. i was a bit iffy on the water myself... i'll have to change it.

I like your stuff. very confident. Good colour awareness. Fair point made about the water.
By the way I liked what Ben T. did to your piece over at his forum.
