Howdy guys i was looking for some action pose refferance and i came across this collection of magazine images ,, there are 1000 of super awesome magazine images called " Spectrum The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art"..

Its my 1s time hearing about it, wanted to download it in pdf but fuck cant find it anywhere cause of my lame google skills xD

So i was wondering if anyone knows where to download or read them online,, Spectrum magazine and all other pro magazine..

The people who publish Spectrum haven't done an electronic version. You can buy many of the back issues on Amazon, though.

(You can look up the artists that got in, though, and find a lot of their work online, including some of the pieces that were printed in the magazine.)

Ban Kai, asking for (unauthorized) download links for in-print books and magazines can get you banned. Posting them definitely will. I understand you're in a part of the world where things aren't as easily accessible, but it doesn't matter. Be careful, next time you won't get a warning.

thanks for the warning but i thought pdf file are allowed like Imagine Fx if they are even allowed ??? i dont know why its different than Loomis books that i found link for here on CA..

Btw now that i know that Spectrum isnt allowed are there any other pro magazines that are allowed ?? i only know about Imagine Fx and thats it, cant buy anything where i live.

Because Imagine FX are up for purchase and not necessarily out of print. Spectrum is not out of Print it's currently being produced and you can purchase it. Loomis was out of print for many years (which is why it became an exception). It's just recently become back in print - least Figure Drawing for All its Worth has.

Where it gets tricky is where certain publications become public domain. Bridgman (drawing book) editions have become public domain, but there are still other editions still in print.

hmmm i see , thanks for telling me that , i never even held an art magazine in my hands not even mangas which i read all the time xD
