wow--you mean you use real paint? Just kidding--looking good. I like the foreshortening of the figure and the arm on the left especially. th econcept is lost on me though--fromo the title "the cycle" and seeing the guy floating or falling/flying to a car and a woman in the background, im not really sure what youre trying to sy. Technically its nice though
is it a book cover?

I like it a lot. Its really good. I like how I don't necessarily know whats goin on and how,me, as the viewer can come up with my own story to it. I still dont know whats happening, but I like it.:)

As the others have said, it's a bit hard to tell what's going on here.
My first thought was that he has crashed the car in the back of the painting and been thrown through the windshield, but his movement doesn't really fit with that, plus he would be injured/bloody in that case, plus the piece is called "the cycle", so now I don't know...

But by all means! -I think you've done a good job as usual. Just a little confusing. But that can be a good thing, so...

Maybe if you told a little more about the painting(s), the(ir) story. :)

yeah I was looking to do a cover that would raise questions.. that people might talk about.. and well question on its true nature, lead people to acually open that book and really find out.... maybe I can clear it up.. the narrative that is....

The man is going through a car window, and at this point is a ghost, who is bound to his car, and is reliving his horrible accident over and over again, In the background is his wife(who is still alive).. coming to morn the accident, unknowning of her deceased husband's suffering. He was caught in this horrible cycle because the instants before his death... he had one last fleeding thought of regret... on how he conducted his life, and knowing that the crash was his fault became his prison....
And the key lies within his wifes forgiveness.

Pretty nice! I like the drapery. My major crit would be his left leg. It looks emaciated and broken in a couple spots (maybe from the car crash? ;)). Seems like his calf should have a bit more bulk. Did you use a reference? Cuz it might just be one of those things that looks weird in real life too. That definately happens.

P.S. If that's you, like, no offence to your calf or nothin' y'know. Like I'm not saying your leg's weird, just in the picture right? Cuz, like I don't want to, y'know, offend you and shit cuz...and...yeah. Yeah.

I see what your saying.. there is still some stuff that I have to work out.. the light on the calf.. is probably way to strong
