nice sketches... are they pencil on paper-- scanned in? why did you choose to invert and make the negative space purple?

well......... it's actually black paper, with white pencil.... it's the paper that comes with those books with transparent pages. at the time I ran out of reg paper or sketchbooks so I used the paper that came with the book.:D

oh interesting... did you tint it violet once you scanned it?

nope..... i did fil in the white area with a color similar to that purple......... i gues the textured paper and the light of the scanner gave it that type of color.

I got a hold of the Najica Blitz Tactics DVD and to my surprise there were alot of panty shots all over the series. So here is my Noriyasu Yamauchi inspired ladies.... and their panties. :D

Awesome work and nice colours m8. what program did you use to colour the last one?

The only crit i would have is that on the last picture her left leg looks like its dislocated, its too far down and not joint in the same place as the right leg. appart from that though looks great. gj

How's that?

I used a combination of Freehand and Fireworks... Turns out that these two programs are really good. You could create your own style of lines and trace the original drawing with it. Then Import it in Fire works to work on the colors. Took me a long time to get the look I wanted but I guess I'm getting the hang of it.

thek0n - you got some potential here! good poses! bits of your anatomy here and there seem to be off in certain parts. your coloring isn't that bad. one crit is on the one that you last posted, her thighs aren't correct. you wouldn't see that much of her butt in that pose. plus her left foot doesn't bend right, plus you would see a squish in her left calf when she bends her leg like that. o and her right shoulder seems to close to her body. as for her face, her features are too close together. nose is way to high up, and is a bit small. overall the pose doesn't look as natural as it should be.

its interesting your using freehand and fireworks? not my choice of programs but whatever floats your boat. hmm have you used photoshop or painter before?

yea, that's what I get for being lazzy. I should of had redrawn the sketch into a more finnished scketch... basically I skipped a step. I don't pay too much attencion to proportions when I'm just skeching around ideas...

it looks like you have the same problem i have...making girls hands way too big and manly looking...

they're hard to draw!

I wouldn't worry about that too much. One of my favorite artist is Taekim and he makes big hands and big feet but his stuff still looks good so. I'll keep that in mind though.
