I'm planning on purchasing a bunch of Dover books, but unfortunately I don't have the opportunity to visit the Dover Bookshop in London!
So I am wondering if anyone out there can recommend me some of their books? I know their books are cheap but I'm one of those starving artists that can't spend so much. :(

I want to use them mostly as inspiration or for reference.Till now I have been looking into some of their books containing old theater posters, fairytale illustrations by E. Dulac and W. Crane and some old cars and animal books, but I'm not that interested in clip-art...

I do advise buying Bridgman separately vs his Complete version because it's edited and even more confusing than the separate editions this was compiled from.

Clip Art can actually be useful if you have Corel Painter or even loading them in Photoshop to create brushes.

See if you can also get the "Drawings of" your favorite Masters and do studies from them as well.
