No big surprise, but she was severly talented. Too bad she chose to go out a one album wonder. Too bad it wasn't Lady Gaga.

It came as no surprise to me either but it still affected me. It's sad to see a good artist go. This is one of my favorite live performances:

Yeah. It's a shame that Norwegian terrorist is only getting 21 years.

Hey, at least she died doing what she loved.

I imagine the impact of taking hard drugs on a regular basis was destroying her ability to create anything anymore and it could have been a depressive suicide. Pure speculation of course.

Miles Davis said about Charlie Parker that he was 'greedy motherfucker' and that's what really destroyed him; overindulgence in everything.
That's probably what also destroyed Winehouse.
Both were intelligent, sophisticated artists and people, but their appetite ate them.

Watched the disastrous footage from the first concert of the European Tour they had to cancel. It was really hard to watch, she looked so lost and out of it, really sad. There's no way she should have been trying for a comeback, it amazes me that she wasn't sectioned for her own good instead, but these things are never cut and dry are they? anyway RIP Amy x

Two albums: Frank (2003) and Back to Black (2006). The latter has some great songs on it. It is sad some people lose the fight to their demons.

I haven't heard her music, but she was pretty. Unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before somebody disses her due to how she died.

Actually, I'm quite upset by her death. I thought she was a great talent who still had a lot to give and now we'll never know.

Unfortunately she loved drugs more than music. I just hope she left some jams behind to prove otherwise. Back to Black was a one of a kind album. I really wish there were more like it.

Carnifex-Maybe Linsey Lohan can change her ways and make an awsome sex tape.

What do you mean "one album wonder"? She had two and both were amazing. Some of my favorite songs were from her first album.

I don't think she found her voice in Frank. It wasn't bad it just wasn't half the album Back to Black was.
