Wow. Holy crap this is amazing!
Is this a commission? This is crazily awesome (good english, huh?)... you had to have put in tons of hours into this. Geez.
I've been thinking of doing a large mural like this, too. I'm too afraid of actually doing it, though. haha

When i first look at it it kinda reminds me of those pre-rennassaince religious Jesus paintings. One of the ones with an incredible amount of symbology and hidden meanings. I think that thar light qualitiy is really incredible (how you did the lighting), and also the composition.
Good Job

Niiice, man!
(Much longer than I had imagined!) Interesting things going on, and the Michelangeloesque colors work well in the piece.
All the activity and number of characters makes this is a bit trippy.
Massive...
Good job.

My initial reaction was that it looks like the Modern art style of Thomas heart benton's during the government funded Public Works Project. His murals in particular.

It's quite amazing. If that's your senior thesis project, then you definitely have quite a life ahead of you. The style is superb and clean, and the colouring is wonderful. It's true inspiration. Keep up the good work, and continue to put out as much as you have been.
I'd love to see some more detail shots.

The opening was last night at Ringling for the senior show at the Ringling school... it was quite nice... alot of great work all across the board. The responce to my piece was excellent... one thing Ive really focused in on in the last year has been cooking oils, the ciannini recipe, and working very traditionally. This is something that is very difficult to do because information is difficult to obtain and involves alot of extra research...
but last night It really payed off to have it on the wall.. the Yellow in the middle is so bright it is incredible... Im really happy with my paint.. and cant wait to continue my studys
thanks.. I will hopefully have more details soon
