The first image is superb. I think the feet and base could do with some more work. The head and pixie dust look a little rushed. Other than that, it's an idiosynchratic treat.

I wonder what it is... Is like a Chocobo from Final fantasy, but more alien, the art itself is very nice!!!

Background on the funky bird. Originally this was an avian mage race in an RPG that was being developed with Epic using the Unreal engine back in the late nineties.

As some folks may remember, the first version of the engine was delayed multiple times (years? :-) and this game was subsequently canned.

After that I left the game industry, and stopped doing very much art. I still dabble a bit on the side for fun. Tempted to get back into it. The folks on this board are certainly quite a bit of inspiration. :-)
