Jonny Duddle, known as Duddlebug on CA from ye olde days, was one of two character concept artists on this rather jolly looking piece of piratical fun from Aardmans. US trailer first followed by the UK one. It seems to have two titles depending on release location: 'The Pirates: Band of Misfits', or 'The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists', which I believe is the title of the book it is based on by Gideon Defoe. Stop motion!
