Kim- hey i don't know if this would help you or not, but we run a figure drawing session in Seattle and there are lots of people from the game industry show up, you might be able to make connections for what your lookin for.The bulk of them usually show up on saturdays, but some them are there the other 2 days too.

Heres the link for the schedule, hope that helps.

hi Kim how's life post WotC treating you?;] I used to work out at corporate with the Techs and did freelanc artwork on the side. I did some work down in Siberia a while back via Chaz Elliot and Bob Watts, Chaz set me up in your work space doodling book covers a prospective MtG miniatures game back in like 98 and you and I talked about Dragons and the anatomical construction of the dragon wing for a while. Just thought I'd get that intro out of the way.

So where did you go after Wotc? Are you still working as an artist? I am putting together a group of people to do volunteer work for the Middle Earth Ball here in Seattle. Have you heard of it? It is a great deal of fun! Are you still working in the science fiction/ fantasy feilds? I manage to keep my hand in at some of the local conventions.

hey Kim, I actually joined the Navy believe it or not. Decided to pursue a career as a pilot.. I've long since decided that I'd rather be self employed and am eagerly awaiting the end of 2006 so I can go back to the civilian work force. I'm currently working on the side as a concetpual art director/artist for a start up company trying to stay in the industry and get my name out there. Our company specializes in IP Development which coincidentally is the division I was trying to transfer to right after I was laid off:P Right now I'm working on a sci-fi/mythos RPG called C-Tech. It's basically the dark future that H.P. Lovecraft never envisioned;} It's an amazing property with a bunch of potential.. I'll let you know when I have some artwork available to view for it that isn't concept sketches.

Volunteering for the Middle Earth Ball? I've never heard of it but it sounds pretty damn cool.. I could probably go as an elf;] If you need volunteers let me know what you need I'd be happy to help out schedule permitting of course. I'm up to my eyeballs in work right now but drop me an e-mail and we can talk more about it undertow01_99@yahoo.com It's good to hear that you're keeping yourself busy with the con scene i wish I had the time to go to some of them this year:( Congrats on the mermaid in Spectrum 9! Gorgeous work as usual! Well, I should get back to work. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Hey, Mike (Undertow), it was awesome running into you last week. It was good to see that you're doing well and up to cool stuff! We'll have to nail some beer sometime.

I wish you the best of luck with the new work you are starting. A couple of friends just made me a business proposal to start up a small effects studio specializing in Jim Henson Creature Shop kind of stuff. It is a hell of a risk, but hey, it would be soo cool! I may be withdrawing from the Middle Earth Ball in order to start this business. When the convention season ends at the end of September, I would love to get together and see your work.

Best regards;
Kim Graham :)
